Parkland®, EverWood®, SimpleLift™
Appearance of Extra Slats
On blinds with the SimpleLift™ operating system, it is normal to see one or more extra slats positioned at the bottom of the blind.
One slat is placed directly over the bottom rail to create a clean, uniform appearance from the front.
A second slat may rest on top of the first, depending on the overall height of the blind ordered.
Design Intent
This slat placement is intentional and does not indicate a defect or manufacturing issue. The added slats provide visual balance and help conceal the bottom rail edge, especially in front-facing installations.
