When to Reset Your Hub Connection
If your Wi-Fi password has changed or you’ve installed a new router, your PowerView® Gen 2 Hub will need to be reconfigured. This ensures it stays connected and functional within your PowerView® system.
Tip: If your original router is still connected and functioning, you can update the configuration before disconnecting it.
Remove the Existing Network
- Open the PowerView® App.
- From the main menu, select Hub.
- Tap the information icon (i) next to the Hub’s name to open the Hub Detail screen.
- Tap the Wi-Fi network name to open the Wi-Fi Configuration screen.
- Select Forget this Network.
- The Hub will automatically restart.
Note: Leave the Ethernet cable plugged in during this step.
Reconnect the Hub to a New Network
- Hard close the PowerView® App.
- Wait for the Hub to restart.
- Once the LED blinks aqua and then turns solid magenta, reopen the PowerView® App.
- The Hub will appear as Wi-Fi Hub – Hub Gen 2 Wi-Fi.
- Tap Configure and follow the prompts to connect the Hub to your new Wi-Fi network.
Complete Setup and Confirm Connection
Once the setup is complete:
- The LED on the Hub will turn solid blue.
- The Hub will keep its original name.
- All previously connected shades, rooms, scenes, and schedules will remain intact.
