Summary:
The PowerView® App allows you to put the Hub into Safe Mode. This restricts editing so users can only operate scenes and shades, preventing accidental settings changes.
Applies To:
Legacy PowerView® (prior to Fall 2022)
Open the PowerView® App on your mobile device.
Go to Settings.
Tap the Hub Name you want to restrict.
Tap Info.
On the About This Hub screen, activate Safe Mode.
When Safe Mode is on, editing functions are unavailable. Users can only operate scenes and shades.
To Re-enable Editing
Return to the Safe Mode button using the same path: Settings > Hub Name > Info.
Disable Safe Mode to restore editing functions.
