In some cases, yes. Hunter Douglas can convert select products from one lift system to another for certain products. Conversion requests are generally accepted for eligible products less than one year old and still within the serviceable range to a repair center.
Conversions are most commonly used to:
- Correct a lift system ordered in error
- Meet customer preferences or accessibility needs
Limitations
- Only eligible products and lift systems can be converted
- Fabric or system must not be discontinued
- Hunter Douglas reserves the right to decline conversions on older or modified products
- Conversions may incur additional fees
The following Hunter Douglas product lines are not eligible for conversions:

- EverWood® Alternative Wood Blinds

Note: The products listed above are not eligible for conversion due to engineering limitations, product construction differences, component incompatibility, or rebuild requirements that exceed standard repair and conversion processes. For eligible product lines not listed above, review the specific lift system and product specifications to confirm conversion eligibility.
Conversions are not available in Canada.
