This repair cannot be done at home. Because cords run through the handle, service must be completed by Hunter Douglas or an Authorized Service Center (ASC/ASC+).

When the handle breaks, the lift cords often pull up into the fabric. Field disassembly can damage the fabric and cord routing.
Caution: Do not attempt to pull cords back out or replace the handle on-site. This may cause additional damage.
What To Do
Stop using the shade to prevent further damage.
Do not remove the handle or tug the cords.
Schedule service with Hunter Douglas or an Authorized Service Center (ASC/ASC+) for a professional repair.
