PowerView® Gen 3 Motor Replacement Eligibility (Current Versions)

Summary:
This article lists the motors currently in production for PowerView® Gen 3 shades. Use the chart to confirm if your shade supports motor replacement in the field or in the app. If a motor part number (PCN) is listed without a red date, it is the only Gen 3 version available. For other versions, refer to the Motor Replacement Matrix for Previous Versions.

Note: The PowerView App must be version 3.2.0 or later to perform motor replacements in-app.

How to Use This Matrix

This chart helps you determine whether your PowerView® Gen 3 product can be repaired by:

  • Replacing the motor physically in the field

  • Using the PowerView App to resolve fabrication issues

  • Or if no repair is currently supported

Use the product name and motor PCN (part control number) to match your product.

What the Highlight Colors Mean

  • Green rows: A replacement motor can be ordered for this product, and shade replacement is available for this product in the PowerView App. 

  • Yellow rows: In-app solution ONLY. No option to switch out the physical motor in the field, but fabrication issues may be resolved by the in-app motor replacement function. Contact Tech Support team for troubleshooting assistance.

  • Unhighlighted rows: Motor replacement is NOT currently an option.
