Summary:
Blinking numbers on your PowerView® remote usually mean the batteries are running low. Replacing them should fix the issue.
Applies To:
PowerView® Gen3 (after Spring 2022)
If the numbered groups on your PowerView® Gen 3 remote begin blinking or lighting up in sequence when you press a button, the batteries are likely low.
This flashing pattern is designed to warn you that the battery needs to be replaced.
A low battery may also cause your remote to behave inconsistently or become unresponsive. To restore normal operation, replace the CR2032 coin cell batteries in your remote.
Note: The blinking pattern may resemble what you see during remote syncing, but in this case it means the battery is too weak to send commands reliably.
