Why Shades Don’t Stay Synchronized
PowerRise® shades use low-voltage direct current (DC).
This means shades will not travel at identical speeds or stop at exactly the same time.
This applies whether shades are powered individually, daisy-chained, battery-operated, or DC-powered.
Option 1: Set an Intermediate Stop
Program an intermediate stop at the desired alignment point.
When the shades are raised or lowered, they will always stop at that position.
Note: The shades may travel at different speeds but will align at the programmed stop.
To bypass the intermediate stop, use ExpressMode:
Press and hold the Up/Down button for 2–3 seconds.
The shades will move past the stop and continue to the top or bottom.
Caution: Do not hold the button longer than 6 seconds.
Option 2: Use the Platinum™ App
Control shades with the slider bars for more precise alignment.
Create timed scenes in the app to align shades programmatically.
Note: The Platinum™ App requires a Bridge or Gateway.
