General Troubleshooting Steps
Follow these steps first before identifying your power type:
Press and release the programming button. Make sure the shade moves all the way up or down.
Unplug the power cable between the window covering and the power source.
Wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in and test the programming button again.
If the shade still doesn’t respond, continue below based on the power source.
AA Battery Wand
Replace all 12 AA batteries with new, non-rechargeable alkaline batteries.
Confirm the battery wand is securely connected and properly seated in the bracket.
Test the programming button again.
Rechargeable Battery Wand
Charge the wand fully using the approved charging cable.
Reconnect it to the shade and test for movement.

C-Sized Battery Wand
The C-sized wand uses a metal mounting bracket to complete the circuit.
Confirm the wand is firmly clipped into the bracket.
Slide the wand into place so the two metal prongs make contact.
Replace the C-size batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable alkaline batteries.
DC Power Supply Options
This includes:
Standard plug-in DC power supply
Gray box (large DC power supply)
White box (16-shade DC power supply)
Check all cable connections between the power source and the window covering.
Unplug and replug the power adapter at both ends.
If available, test the shade using a different working power supply.
