Summary: Learn how to replace decorative tape rolls on Hunter Douglas horizontal blinds originally built with decorative tapes. If your tapes are frayed, misaligned, or no longer lifting smoothly, this repair can help restore function and appearance. These steps use EPIC™ replacement components and apply only to blinds manufactured with decorative tapes—this is not a conversion from standard ladder cords. If your blind uses standard ladder cords, see the article titled Convert to EPIC™ Tape Roll Components for full upgrade instructions.
