Create PowerView Account
- Select the menu button in the PowerView App.
- Tap PowerView Account > Create Account.
- Follow prompts to enter your email and verify your account.
- Sign in to the app.
Tip: If the hub is registered to another account, re-register it while on the same Wi-Fi network.
Register Hub
Required for RemoteConnect™ and third-party integrations.
- Create a PowerView Account.
- From the Homes List, tap Enable Legacy Hub Setup.
- Select Menu > Hub > Hub Info > Register Hub.
Discover Products
Only shades not joined to a remote or another hub can be discovered.
Select Menu > Shades > Discover.
Note: Newly discovered shades appear under the Shades menu and are automatically joined to the hub network.
Edit Product Details
- Go to Menu > Shades.
- Select a shade to:
- Rename
- Jog to identify
- Assign to a room
- Refresh battery or signal
- Mark as a Favorite
Create and Delete Rooms
Rooms are required for creating scenes.
Create a Room:
Go to the Rooms tab. Tap + or Create Room.
Delete a Room:
Go to Rooms > Edit, then tap Delete Room.
Assign Products to Rooms
Via Rooms Tab:
Select room > tap + > assign shades.
Via Menu:
Menu > Shades > select shade > assign to room.
Operate Shades
Operate in Room:
Tap Rooms tab > select room > select shade > adjust position.
Jog Shade:
Menu > Shades > select shade > Jog Shade to Identify.
Create, Operate, and Delete Scenes and Scene Groups
Create Scene Group: Tap Create Scene Group from Scenes tab.
Create Scene:
Select room > select shades and position > Next > Save.
Operate Scene/Group: Tap the item in the Scenes tab.
Delete Scene/Group: Tap Edit > Delete next to item.
Create a Schedule
Scenes are required for all schedules.
Create a Schedule:
Go to Schedules tab > Create Automation or Options > Add an Automation.
Disable or Delete a Schedule
Disable Single Schedule:
Tap schedule > toggle Enable Automation to off.
Disable All Schedules:
Tap Options > Disable Automations.
Delete Schedule:
Select schedule > Edit > Delete Automation.
Use RemoteConnect™
Enabled automatically after hub registration.
- Select Connect to Hub.
- Select the hub with RemoteConnect™ label.
- Access Scenes or Schedules while away from home.
Note: Rooms tab and Dashboard are not available in RemoteConnect™ mode.
