Getting Started
Download and install the PowerView App by visiting hdpvapp.com on your mobile device.
Once installed, follow the instructions within the app to set up and customize your PowerView Gen 3 system. If needed, see the full setup article: Set Up PowerView Gen 3.

App Requirements
The PowerView App is required to program and configure PowerView Gen 3 shades and accessories. You’ll also need it to adjust shade limits, set favorites, and manage accounts.
Individual Control
Control each window treatment individually using product-specific sliders.
Sheer products: Two sliders—one for open/close, the other for vane rotation.
Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutters: A single slider to rotate the louvers.
Each slider offers intuitive control, allowing precise positioning of shades.

Operation by Rooms
You can operate all shades in a room at once using the Rooms view. For example, lower all the shades in the Main Bedroom with a single swipe.
Scene Operation
Create or activate Scenes to control multiple window treatments with a single action.
Examples:
Summer Afternoon: Opens east-facing shades fully, sets west-facing to half-closed.
Nighttime: Closes all shades in the home.
Daytime Privacy: Opens vanes on Silhouette® Window Shadings.
You can also customize the speed of scene execution between normal and discreet.
Scheduled Operation
Use Schedules to trigger Scenes automatically based on time of day. Once set, schedules operate in the background to fit your routine—no need to open the app.
Dashboard
The Dashboard gives you a quick snapshot of your system—shades, scenes, and schedules—all in one place.
You can:
Add items for fast access
See shade status at a glance
Use Closest Room Control when location services are available
Note: Closest Room may be disabled if the app cannot detect your environment (e.g., remote access).
User Management
To use PowerView Gen 3, you must create a PowerView Account. This enables:
Multi-device access
Shared home access across household members
Custom access levels for guests
To add a user: Go to More → Users → + (plus sign)
