Overview
The PowerView® Gen 3 remote offers simple, intuitive control of your motorized shades. Whether you're opening a single treatment or closing all shades in a room, the remote provides fast access and customization.

Installation Requirements
Before using the remote, your Gen 3 shades and remote must be set up through the PowerView App. For setup instructions, see Set Up PowerView Gen 3.
Activate and Set Up the Remote
Pull both plastic battery tabs to activate the remote.

Insert the remote into a Pebble® or Surface mount:
Pebble: Align the ribs and press until snug.
Surface: Mount the base, align ribs, and press into place.

Join Shades to a Group
You’ll use the PowerView App to assign shades to numbered Groups (1–6) on your remote.
To add or remove a shade from a Group:
Open the app → More > Accessories > Remotes
Select the Group, tap the edit icon
Select/deselect the shade, then tap “Sync”
Program Favorite Positions
Each shade can have two Favorite positions.
To set them:
In the app, go to More > Shades > [Shade Name]
Choose which Favorite to edit
Move the shade, tap “Done”
Once programmed:
Tap ♥ Favorite = Favorite 1
Double tap ♥ Favorite = Favorite 2
Basic Remote Functions
Open / Close: Moves selected shades
Left / Right Arrows: Operate vanes, slats, louvers, or midrails (only for compatible products)
Stop: Halts shade movement
Favorite: Single or double-tap to recall positions
Group Buttons (1–6): Select which shades to control
All: Selects all Groups at once

Product-Specific Operation
Some commands vary depending on the product. For example:
Top-Down/Bottom-Up shades use arrows to adjust the middle rail.
Silhouette® and Pirouette® use arrow buttons to rotate vanes.

Troubleshooting
No buttons light up? Check or replace batteries.
Shades not responding? Make sure they’re added to a Group.
Arrow buttons not working? Your shade may not support that function—check the chart or recalibrate in the app.
Need to reset? Remotes can’t be factory reset, but you can delete and reconfigure them in the app.

Battery Replacement
The remote uses two CR2032 batteries. Replacing them does not erase your settings.
