Support
When to Adjust Shade Limits
- The shade stops too high or too low compared to your preferred position
- The bottom rail docks too tightly or not fully into the headrail
- The shade alignment is inconsistent across multiple window treatments
- There is visible slack or tension issues in Top-Down/Bottom-Up middle rails
- The shade does not return to a previously set stop point
- The shade travels beyond safe or intended limits during use
Before You Begin
- Confirm the shade's manufacture date matches the method you're using.
- Make sure the remote is joined to the shade and is working properly.
- Perform a six-second calibration reset to ensure limits are initialized.
- Press and hold the STOP button on the remote for 6 seconds to enter programming mode (blinking lights).
- Replace the remote batteries if the indicator lights do not blink.
Set or Adjust Top Limit
Newer Models
- Applause: After May 7, 2019
- Duette: After April 17, 2018
- Select the shade's group using the remote.
- Hold the programming button (no more than 5 seconds).
- While holding it, press and release OPEN, then release the programming button.
- The LED turns solid red (fine adjustment mode).
- Use OPEN, STOP, and CLOSE to move the shade to the new top limit.
- Enter programming mode by holding STOP (6 seconds).
- Repeat step 3 to confirm the new limit (shade jogs, LED turns off).

Exit programming mode (hold STOP or let it time out).
Note: This video shows the process on a Designer Roller Shade, but the steps will be the same for a Duette or Applause shade.
Earlier Models
- Applause: Before May 7, 2019
- Duette: Before April 17, 2018

SkyLift: 2015- Sept 2022
- Run the shade to the current top limit.
- Ensure no groups are selected.
- Hold the programming button (max 5 seconds), then press and release OPEN.
- The shade will jog to confirm the limit was cleared.
- Use OPEN, STOP, and CLOSE to position the new top limit.
- Hold STOP to enter programming mode.
- Repeat step 3 to confirm the new top limit (shade jogs).
- Exit programming mode.
Clear Electronic Top Limit
Use this process to revert to the hard stop limit.
- Run the shade to the current top limit.
- Hold the programming button (max 5 sec), press and release OPEN, then release the button.
- The shade will jog.
- Press and hold the programming button for 6 seconds. The shade will jog and recalibrate.
Adjust Middle Rail Bottom Limit
For Top-Down/Bottom-Up products:
- Applause: After May 7, 2019
- Duette: After April 17, 2018
- Select the shade's group.
- Hold the programming button (max 5 sec), then press and release Left Arrow.
- The LED turns red (fine adjustment mode).
- Use OPEN, STOP, and CLOSE to set the new middle rail position.
- Hold STOP (6 sec) to enter programming mode.
- Hold programming button, press and release Left Arrow, then release. Shade jogs and LED turns off.
- Exit programming mode.
Set or Adjust Bottom Limit
For Bottom Up Shades Listed Above:
- Follow the same steps listed under Top Limit but substitute CLOSE for OPEN.
