Summary:
Each Legacy PowerView® remote has six assignable groups. A shade may be joined to more than one group. For best results, only group similar shades together, since product features and operation may differ.
Applies To:
Legacy PowerView® (prior to Fall 2022)
Enter program mode.
Press and hold STOP on the remote until the indicator lights blink (about six seconds).
The remote is now in program mode.
Select a group.
Press the desired group number (1–6) on the remote.
The backlit group number will flash to confirm it is selected.
Note: This step must be completed within 5 seconds of entering program mode.
Join the shade to the group.
Press and hold the programming button on the shade.
While holding the programming button, press OPEN on the remote.
The shade’s green light flashes once, and the shade will jog twice (up, down or down, up) to confirm it has joined the group.
Release the programming button on the shade.
Exit program mode.
Press and hold STOP on the remote until the indicator lights stop blinking (about six seconds).
