Before You Delete Your Account
In most cases, it is not necessary to delete your PowerView® Account. Common scenarios can be solved without deletion:
Need a new account or email?
You don’t need to delete your existing account to create a new one or register the hub with a different account. See: Update PowerView® Account Email for Legacy PowerView®.No longer using the account?
The account will remain available. You can sign back in later without having to create a new account.Forgot your password?
Tap Forgot Password? on the sign-in page in the PowerView® App to reset it.Want to stop notifications or emails?
Update your preferences in Account Settings instead of deleting the account.
Important: Deleting your account will:
Deregister your hub
Permanently remove Hunter Douglas’ record of your account, including hub backups
End any data sharing preferences selected during setup
Only delete your account if you want all of this information permanently removed.
How to Delete a PowerView® Account
Open the PowerView® App.
Go to Account Settings.
Select Delete Account and confirm your choice.
Check your registered email for a confirmation link.
Click the link to confirm account deletion.
A web browser page will open confirming your account has been deleted.
The hub will automatically deregister from that account.
Note: For Gen 1 Hubs, this may take a few minutes or require a restart to appear in the app.
