Option A: Hub Connected via Ethernet
- In the PowerView app, tap the Home name > Enable Legacy Hub Setup
- Plug the Ethernet cable into the router, then power on the hub
- Watch for this light sequence:
- Solid Aqua > Blinking Aqua > Solid Amber > Solid Aqua > Blinking Aqua > Blinking Amber
- If stuck: press and hold the P button until the hub glows solid amber
- In the app, tap to confirm whether your remotes are already paired

Option B: Hub Connected via Wi-Fi
- Power the hub using the USB power supply

- Confirm your mobile device is on the correct 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network
- Open the PowerView app when the hub blinks magenta

Install and Update Repeaters
Repeaters help extend signal coverage. Most homes need fewer than six.
- Plug each repeater into power starting near the hub
- Repeater LED should blink amber
- Press and hold the P button on the hub until it glows amber
- All repeaters will flash as they update together
- Discover repeaters in the app. For more details, see Operate PowerView® with Repeater.
Discover Shades Using the App
Use the PowerView app to add shades after hub and remotes are configured.
Create and Adjust Schedules
- Automate your routine by having shades open in the morning and close at night. You can match your schedule without lifting a finger.
- Tip: Set shades to open with sunrise and close at sunset for a natural light rhythm.
- For more details see Operate PowerView® Shades with App, Hub, and Gateway
Add and Configure Scene Controllers
The scene controller is designed to trigger your saved scenes, which are customized combinations of shade positions, light levels, and schedules. It communicates wirelessly with your PowerView® Hub or directly with the shades, depending on your system configuration.
For more details on adding or assigning scenes to your controller see Operate Legacy PowerView® Using a Scene Controller
