Summary:
To use multiple remotes with Legacy PowerView®, they must share the same network ID. Pairing remotes ensures they are all on a single shade network before any window covering programming is done.
Applies To:
Legacy PowerView® (prior to Fall 2022)
-
Understand network IDs.
Each Legacy PowerView® remote has a unique radio frequency (RF) network ID.
If multiple remotes will be used (Pebble® and/or Surface), they must be paired so they share a single network ID.
Pairing should be done before programming any shades.
-
Pair remotes together.
Follow the pairing process to link multiple remotes into one network.
Once paired, all remotes will operate shades on the same network.
-
Add additional remotes later.
New remotes can be added to an existing network by following the same pairing process.
Ensure the hub and original remotes remain active during the process.
