Before You Begin
We recommend reading the instructions in full before starting any adjustments. Limit settings may need to be changed if:
The bottom rail does not stop where expected
Shades dock too tightly into the headrail
Alignment is inconsistent across adjacent shades
A previous limit was cleared or not set correctly
Before adjusting, confirm:
The product’s manufacturing date matches the instructions
The shade is joined to the remote
The remote can enter programming mode (press and hold STOP for 6 seconds—if it doesn’t blink, replace the batteries)
You’ve performed a six-second calibration reset to initialize limits (hold the programming button until the shade jogs and cycles through its range)
Note: Custom electronic top limits cannot exceed the hard stop limit and must be aligned to the lowest-positioned shade when setting multiple units side by side.
Set or Adjust Top Limit
To customize how far the shade raises:
- Run the shade to its current top limit.
- Ensure no group numbers are selected on the remote.
- Press and hold the programming button on the window treatment (no more than 5 seconds), then press and release OPEN on the remote.
- Release the programming button. The shade will jog to confirm the current limit has been cleared.
- Use OPEN, STOP, and CLOSE to move the shade to the desired top position.
- Hold STOP on the remote (6 seconds) until the indicator lights blink.
- Press and hold the programming button again, then press and release OPEN.
- Release the programming button. The shade will jog again to confirm the new top limit.
- Press and hold STOP until the indicator lights stop blinking or allow the remote to time out.
Note: The electronic top limit cannot exceed the hard stop limit. Use a six-second calibration reset to test factory stop points.
Clear Electronic Top Limit
To revert to the factory hard stop limit:
- Run the shade to its current top limit.
- Ensure no group numbers are selected.
- Press and hold the programming button, then press and release OPEN. Release the programming button within 5 seconds.
- The shade will jog to confirm the top limit was cleared.
- Press and hold the programming button for 6 seconds until the shade jogs again.
- Allow the shade to complete its full calibration cycle uninterrupted.
Set or Adjust Bottom Limit (Roller Only)
This sets how far the roller shade lowers:
- Select the group button (1–6) joined to the shade.
- Press and hold the programming button (no more than 5 seconds), then press and release CLOSE.
- The shade will move to its current bottom limit. The LED will turn solid red (fine adjustment mode).
- You have 60 seconds to reposition the shade using OPEN, STOP, and CLOSE.
- Hold STOP on the remote until the indicator lights blink.
- Press and hold the programming button, then press and release CLOSE.
- The shade will jog, and the red LED will turn off.
- Hold STOP again until lights stop blinking or wait for time-out.
- Test shade movement to confirm the new bottom limit.
