When to Adjust Shade Limits
- The shade stops too high or too low from your preferred position
- The bottom rail docks too tightly or does not seat in the headrail
- The shade alignment varies across multiple windows
- The shade does not return to a previous stop point
- The shade moves beyond intended limits during operation
Before You Begin
- Confirm the shade's manufacture date to use the correct procedure.
- Ensure the remote is joined to the shade and working.
- Perform a 6-second calibration reset (hold programming button until the shade jogs and cycles).
- Confirm remote can enter programming mode (press and hold STOP until lights blink).
- Replace remote batteries if lights do not blink.
Set or Adjust Top Limit
- Move the shade to its current top limit.
- For Sonnette manufactured after May 16, 2017: Press the group number the shade is joined to.
For Sonnette manufactured before May 16, 2017: deselect all group numbers. - Hold the programming button (max 5 sec), then press and release OPEN.
- Shade will jog and blink red. You're now in fine adjustment mode.
- Use OPEN, STOP, and CLOSE to set the new top position.
- Press and hold STOP (6 sec) to enter programming mode.
- Hold the programming button, press and release OPEN, then release. The shade will jog and the LED will turn off.

Exit programming mode.
Note: This video shows the process on a Designer Roller Shade, but the steps will be the same for a Sonnette shade.
Clear Electronic Top Limit
Use this process to return to the default hard stop limit.
- Run the shade to its current top limit.
- Hold programming button (max 5 sec), then press and release OPEN, and release the button. Shade jogs.
- Hold the programming button for 6 seconds. The shade jogs again and calibrates.
- Allow the calibration cycle to finish fully.
Set or Adjust Bottom Limit
For All Shades:
- Follow the same steps listed under Set or Adjust Top Limit but substitute CLOSE for OPEN.
