When to Adjust Shade Limits
- The shade stops too high or too low compared to your desired position
- The bottom rail docks too tightly into the headrail
- The top limit needs to align with adjacent shades
- The shade moves beyond intended limits during operation
Before You Begin
- Confirm the shade’s manufacture date supports these instructions
- Ensure the remote is joined to the shade
- Perform a 6-second calibration reset (hold programming button until jog, allow full travel)
- Enter programming mode on the remote by holding STOP for 6 seconds (blinking lights)
- If lights do not blink, replace the remote batteries
Set or Adjust Top Limit
- Run the shade to its current top limit.
- Ensure no group numbers are selected on the remote.
- Hold the programming button on the shade (no more than 5 seconds).
- While holding, press and release OPEN on the remote, then release the button. The shade will jog to confirm the upper limit has been cleared.
- Use OPEN, STOP, and CLOSE on the remote to move the shade to the desired new top limit.
- Press and hold STOP on the remote until the indicator lights blink (enter programming mode).
- Hold the programming button again (max 5 sec), press and release OPEN, then release. The shade will jog to confirm the new limit.
- Hold STOP until the remote exits programming mode (lights stop blinking).
- Operate the shade to confirm the new top limit is saved.
Clear Electronic Top Limit

- Ensure no groups are selected on the remote.
- Hold the programming button (no more than 5 sec), press and release OPEN, then release the button. The shade will jog to confirm clearance.
