Reinforce Vertical Fabric Vanes
Over time, the tops of your vertical vanes may begin to wear out, especially where they clip into the headrail. If you notice fraying, stretching, or difficulty keeping the vanes in place, a reinforcement piece can help. For fabric vanes, this piece attaches to the top of the vane to create a stronger, more secure connection point.
These reinforcements can extend the life of your blinds and help prevent sagging or falling vanes.

Identify Legacy Vertical Tracks
Use the photos below to identify whether you have a legacy vertical track system. Cadence was discontinued in 2024; Somner and Vertical Solutions were discontinued in October 2026. These product lines used Paramount, PermaTrack, and PermAlign headrail systems, which were also discontinued and became obsolete in October 2026.

Repair Service Availability
Effective October 6, 2026, repairs for Hunter Douglas legacy vertical track systems have been discontinued. Parts for these systems are no longer in stock, and components for the new Vertical Track system are not compatible with legacy tracks.
The remaining service options are reinforcing vertical fabric vanes and replacing brackets. For replacement needs, contact your dealer.
