Why Shades May Lower Unevenly
Shades are shipped fully stacked from the factory.
If the motor is powered or operated while the shade is still stacked and uninstalled, the bottom rail cannot deploy properly.
This can cause the internal cords to overlap on the spools, which results in an uneven bottom rail once installed.
Honeycomb shades should always be installed in the window before operating. Gravity and fabric weight help keep the cord spools aligned correctly.
How to Correct an Uneven Shade
Lower the shade using the PowerView® App, remote, or manual button.
While the shade is moving down, gently pull on the bottom rail.
Focus on the side that appears most uneven.
Allow the shade to reach the bottom of travel, then raise and lower it again.
This helps the cord spools unwind and rewind in the proper orientation.
