Summary:
The battery wand barrel connection was updated for all Vignette® PowerRise® shades manufactured after May 2010. Use this guide to convert an older-style battery connection to the current configuration.

Older Vignette® PowerRise® battery wands use a different connection style that is no longer compatible with new components. This conversion allows the shading to be used with updated parts.

Battery Tube #PCN7520068000
Power Adaptor Cable #PCN2920247000
12 AA alkaline batteries
Convert the Battery Wand
Remove the shade from the installation brackets.
Disconnect the current connection from the back of the motor cartridge.
Remove the old power adaptor cable, then align the groove on the new cable with the groove on the back of the cartridge. Push into place until firmly seated.
Install 12 AA alkaline batteries into the new battery wand.
Attach the battery wand to the battery brackets with the socket facing the motor end of the shading.
Plug the power cable into the socket on the battery wand.
Reinstall the shade into the mounting brackets.
