Summary:
Some Honeycomb PowerView® Duolite® shades may have the center rail skew due to an endcap/threaded component with a cord clip that comes loose, typically when the middle rail reaches the top.
Applies To:
Duette®, Applause®, PowerView® Gen3 (after Spring 2022), Duolite®, Top-Down/Bottom-Up
Preparation
Locate the hex bolts at the ends of the exposed middle rail.
Note: On shades wider than 60 inches, there will be two hex pockets on the right end of the middle rail.
Leveling the Middle Rail
Lift up on the middle rail when making leveling adjustments. Adjust only the side that requires correction.
Insert the EasyAdjust™ key so the hex-shaped portion is about halfway into the pocket.
Turn the key clockwise to raise that end of the rail or counter-clockwise to lower it. One full turn equals approximately 1/8 inch.
Caution: Do not push down on the middle rail while adjusting. This places excess load on the EasyAdjust™ and may strip the component. A stripped EasyAdjust™ will no longer function and requires repair, remake, or replacement.
Note: When adjusting bolts on one side, turn the bolts on the opposite side the same amount to maintain alignment.
Adjusting Center Cord Tension
Use the rear hex pocket to adjust cord tension after leveling the rail with the outer cords.
