Confirm that the shade is programmed to the remote.
Perform a calibration reset: press and hold the programming button on the shade for 6 seconds until the shade jogs once, then release. The shade will cycle through its limits. When finished, the bottom rail will be fully lowered and the middle rail fully raised.
On the remote, press the group button (1–6) assigned to the shade. The button will light up.
While pressing and holding the programming button on the shade, press and release the CLOSE button on the remote, then release the programming button. The shade will move to the bottom limit if not already there, and the LED on the shade will turn solid red, indicating fine adjustment mode.
Within one minute, use OPEN, STOP, and CLOSE to raise the bottom rail slightly off the sill, then lower it until it touches the sill. The shade moves slowly in fine adjustment mode.
To set the new bottom limit, press and hold STOP on the remote for about 6 seconds until indicator lights blink. Make sure no group numbers are lit or blinking.
While pressing and holding the programming button on the shade, press and release CLOSE on the remote, then release the programming button. The shade will move slightly twice, and the red LED will turn off, confirming the new bottom limit.
Press and hold STOP on the remote for 6 seconds until indicator lights stop blinking, or wait 20 seconds for timeout.
While pressing and holding the programming button on the shade, press and release the LEFT arrow on the remote, then release the programming button. The middle rail will move to the bottom position, and the LED will turn solid red, indicating fine adjustment mode.
Select the shade’s group number on the remote. Use OPEN, CLOSE, and STOP to move the middle rail until there is no slack in any cords. The rail will move slowly in fine adjustment mode.
To set the new middle rail limit, press and hold STOP on the remote for about 6 seconds until indicator lights blink. Make sure no group numbers are lit or blinking.
While pressing and holding the programming button on the shade, press and release the LEFT arrow on the remote, then release the programming button. The middle rail will move slightly twice, and the red LED will turn off, confirming the new middle rail limit.
Press and hold STOP on the remote for 6 seconds until indicator lights stop blinking, or wait 20 seconds for timeout.
Test the shade to confirm limits are set correctly and cords are free of slack.
Adjust Slack with EasyAdjust™ Key
Duette® Shades Manufactured After April 17, 2018
Applause® May 7, 2019
For minor leveling adjustments, use the EasyAdjust™ key included with the shade.
Insert the key fully into the adjustment point.
Turn the key in small increments to level the rail and remove slack.
Caution: Avoid forcing the key. Over-rotation or partial insertion may strip the adjustment mechanism.
