Identify Power Configuration
- Check if your window treatment uses a standard battery wand, DC Power Supply (18V or 16-shade), or is hard-wired.
- This guide only applies to products using a standard battery wand mounted behind the shade.
Remove Battery Wand
- Raise the fabric if possible to create space behind the shade.
- Reach carefully behind the fabric—typically on the same side as the motor.
- Locate the battery wand by feel, being careful not to tug or bend the fabric.
- Once located, pull the battery wand downward to release it from the mounting bracket.
- Unplug the cable assembly from the battery wand only.
Caution: Do not unplug the cable from the window treatment itself.
Reconnect and Replace Battery Wand
- When ready to reinstall, first plug the cable assembly into the battery wand.
- Slide the battery wand into the bracket until it clicks or feels secure.
- Lower the fabric and test the functionality.
